Freelance Fizzle

I reported to the print shop this morning only to be disappointed. The project I was to work on has been "sorted out". The director of the print shop will be on holiday for two weeks starting Friday. His client, knowing he would be away, sent him the project early so he will finish it before he leaves instead of having me work on it while he is away. There is still a chance that some design work may come through while he's away. If so, his business partner, who is not a designer, will contact me. The plan is to let me do the work on my own computer and provide them with a pdf. Fingers crossed, I'll get an assignment or two in the next coupla weeks.
