Back in the USofA

Baby it's HOT outside. Hot humid and muggy. No surprises there, but there are plenty of other things that are causing us to raise our eyebrows. Such as the cost of living, which seems to have taken a great leap since we last lived here. A simple lunch at Cafe Hon put us back 30 bucks. Gas is more than $3 a gallon. Yegads! On the other hand, we've begun car shopping and are finding that the car prices are not as sky high as we'd expected. We went to Carmax yesterday and just looked at some of the cars in the lot and got info on the ones we're interested in. This morning, we'll go back so I can test drive a few models.
