I had to catch the 10:45 train out of Exeter this morning, so there was not much time for more than breakfast before we headed to the train station. (Exeter is about an hour drive from Lyme Regis). On my return trip the train was much more crowded. At one station a bunch of young lads boarded the train. It was as if an entire soccer team had entered our car. It was the "quiet" car -- no cell phones allowed -- but the lads chatted up quite a storm. So, once again, I dove into my novel. By the time I was finished reading we had pulled into Harrogate station. Perfect timing.
