Anniversary

A year ago today we moved from Tokyo to Harrogate. We paid a visit to family and friends in the States for three weeks before changing households. At times it feels as if we just moved here. Our lives in Tokyo are still quite fresh in our memories. I am surprised at how long it has taken us to adjust to life in England. It has, perhaps, been a tougher adjustment than when we moved to Japan. At least in Japan we expected things to be different. We didn't expect life in England to be that different from life in the States, but it is.
