Another Low Front Moves In

We are still experiencing strong winds, gale force they say on the TV weather reports. That means they are blowing at up to 75 mph, making for dangerous driving conditions. Already, reports of downed trees and closed bridges are coming in. Our hike was cancelled today because of the wind. This is only the second time in several years that a hike has been cancelled due to weather. As for me, I am on edge listening to the constant whistling of the wind. The gloomy gray skies have crept into my mood, making me sad and listless.
